President of Singapore Industrial Automation Association since 2019. Over the past 4 years had work with council members for overseas mission to Taiwan, Switzerland, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Established the formation of 4 interests’ group within the association, the groups namely from Smart Manufacturing, Smart facilities management and building control, Urban farming and Food tech., IOT and Robotics program.
Started Anewtech Systems Pte Ltd June 1999 as Founder/Managing Director of Anewtech Systems Pte Ltd is headquartered in Singapore and have regional offices in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Penang) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh);
Terence had grown the company from 3 persons to 50 people from 1999 to current.
Anewtech Systems had been ranked under the SME 500/1000 emerging companies for the past 5 years consecutively from 2016 to 2020. In 2021 Anewtech Systems received the Enterprise 50 (E50) organised by KPMG and Business Times and is one of the most prestigious award in recognition for SME companies who had done well in growing the business and also in internalisation and sound management values and in establish a visionary company values and mission.
Attended and spoken as at the M2M wave conference in Shanghai and Shenzhen for IOT solutions and had speak on various implementation and application for IOT solution.
