However, we also give up some beautiful things that we once took for granted, for example the long wavelength reds and fading in conventional tungsten lighting fixtures. In this workshop, James Tan (Lighting Designer) seeks to showcase how we can manipulate the spectral content of multi-color LED light sources. How do we improve the quality of light that we see on stage, to not just be obsessed with mere brightness, but to also appreciate luminous efficacy, color calibration, color shifts and overall color quality.
