Please be aware that you may be targeted by third-party database or list-management companies that claim to hold contact details of registrants, exhibitors or visitors to Pro Integration Future Asia (PIFA). Under no circumstances does PIFA or its organiser sell or share our registration data with such parties. If you receive an email, call or other communication claiming to provide “our data” for a fee or subscription, this is very likely a scam. If you’re unsure, please contact your account manager or the PIFA event team for confirmation.
Fake Directory or Listing Services
Be alert if you receive invitations from companies offering “free catalogue listing”, “online directory inclusion”, “official event guide advertisement” or similar, which appear to be connected to PIFA. Unless explicitly confirmed by us, these offers are not authorised. Please verify with the PIFA organiser before signing or paying for any such services.
Fake Accommodation or Travel Services
If you are approached by accommodation or travel agencies other than our official partners (as listed on the PIFA website), proceed with caution. Some companies may aggressively pitch “discounted hotel rooms” or “official travel packages” that are not sanctioned and may put you at financial risk. Always check the current official contractor list or contact us to confirm legitimacy.
Official Partner & Contractor Lists
For your safety and peace of mind:
-
Refer only to partner lists displayed on the official PIFA website under Partners, Supporting Organisations, Media Partners, etc.
-
If you are approached by any other company claiming to be an “official” or “exclusive supplier” for PIFA, ask for verifiable proof (such as a formal written contract or a reference to our website) and cross-check with the event organiser.
-
When in doubt, contact the PIFA event team via the official contact channels.
What To Do If Contacted
-
Do not proceed until you have verified the legitimacy of the approach.
-
Do not sign or pay any invoices, agreements or forms before checking with us.
-
Report the approach to your account manager or to the PIFA event organiser immediately. Provide copies of communications if possible.
-
Stay alert for follow-up phishing or spam attempts once you’ve been contacted—sometimes one scam leads to another.
Our Commitment
